About Me
I’ve been a nurse for 45 years. I retired last September to care for my mother, who had end-stage CHF. On April 30, 2025 she elected her hospice benefit and moved in with me. On May 4th she passed away surrounded by my siblings and I, our children and grandchildren. She had 12 great-grandchildren.
Before her decline, we tossed around many ideas for part time work for me, and she was happy about my choice of wanting to be an aesthetic nurse.
I worked as a bedside nurse for 10 years, then I was hired as a Utilization Management for Highmark BCBS, and I continued to work in Utilization Management, Disease Case Management and Case Management. I worked for Diabetes Treatment Center, UPMC Health Plan, HealthAmerica, Health Related Services, Alta Health Strategies, and for the last 17 years I worked for UnitedHealthcare as a remote RN Case Manager. I am now looking forward to my new job as an Aesthetic Nurse for June Skin.

All treatments are performed by appropriately licensed professionals within their scope of practice. Certain services may be performed by registered nurses under physician supervision.
